Early C20th pub at the edge of the village close to the A19 with a large dining area and a bar with pool table. Popular for Sunday roast lunches, there is also a large beer garden. Apart from Sunday lunch the pub is only open Friday evenings, and occasional Wednesdays when pub teams (darts, doms, pool) have home matches. If they don't it will not open. Real ale may not be on.
