In a small village a little off the beaten track, but close to the A1M link road, this pleasant inn has a long cosy lounge and bar with a separate restaurant/function room to rear. Watch out for one or two particularly low beams! There are three outside drinking areas with chiminea heaters for summer and winter evenings, also a quoits pitch, plus seven B&B rooms. Motorhome stopovers provided. Now operated by the Fat Badger Group. May well close early if there are no customers.
