See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

In the centre of an attractive village just off the A1, and close to Thorpe Perrow Arboretum, the pub takes its name from the adjacent castle, formerly home to Catherine Parr, last of Henry VIII's wives. Small Caravan & Camping Club site at rear. Wonderful wisteria at the front when in flower.
